They are so pretty! (except for the ones at the bottom which leave me sort of eh, but maybe they would look wonderful and less 70s-ish knitted up)

The "You punched the blue.." is right on target, but I think the Tardis is too purple! The Shiney! is right on though. I think I actually said that when I looked at it...

You're seeing purple in the TARDIS, huh? Interestingly, the new colour chart prompted some discussion about colour displays on monitors and also individual human perceptions of colours (whether we all see the same thing). One participant shared a photo of three different devices that should be colour-accurate with the chart showing on their screens and they're all different. And then told us that the colours in photo itself were not quite the same as what she saw looking at the three screens in RL. So who knows what colours any of the skeins really are? ***GRIN*** What I can swear to is that neither of the two skeins of TARDIS I own (different yarn weights) have any purple tinge to them ... both a rich dark blue with near-black shadings (the shadows of the panels on the real thing)

The colourways at the bottom are deceptive ... they do not knit up like '70s multicoloured yarns. So far they've been turning out as skinny, soft-edged stripes on small things like socks, mittens, gloves and people have been doing some gorgeous colourpooling with them on larger items such as hats, scarves, cowls). The yarn in the photos has all been reskeined to break up the colours; mine haven't been reskeined and looks like a completely different yarn
