This weekend's recreational reading

I think it's really cruel for co-workers to bring me my new books in the morning ... about fifteen minutes before quitting time would be kinder (but not as much fun for the people who, I swear, race to my desk the second they've received the book just so they can be entertained by my bitching about not being allowed to go home and start reading RIGHT NOW!)

Ah well ...

Today's little-bit-of-torture-sitting-on-my-desk-all-day was my eagerly awaited copy of Paul Cornell's The severed streets, sequel to his London falling. Urban fantasy of the dark and gritty kind ... think occult version of Touching evil and you'll have an idea of what these books are like. :-)
