A museum in a dust jacket

My copy of Shetland textiles, 800 BC to the present arrived today. Oh, this is such a rich and lovely book ... like a museum on paper! (and that's just from quickley flipping through it on my coffee break 'cause E (whose desk is next to mine and who oversees the processing dept.) said I couldn't just pack up and go home to read halfway through the day 'cause she needed me to get more cataloguing done to keep her team busy. Darned work cooperation and ethic stuff ***grumblegrumblegrumble*** ;p

But tonight I read and look at incredible pictures of fibres and fabrics and garments and tools and sheep and landscapes and more! :-)
