Have rented "Frida" and "Elizabeth" (Cate Blanchett ... I missed the first 45 minutes when it was on TV in August) to watch this weekend. Highlight of registering new membership at video place ... having male teenage clerk enthusing about how much he LOVES "Elizabeth" ... there's nothing like the reassurance that the new generation is aware of something besides the latest blockbuster/bestseller to brighten my day (actually, knowing that people in MY generation have that awareness brightens my day ***grin***). That and finding mozzerella smokies at the grocery store ... YUM!!!!!
Snow is still here and refusing to go away (translation: chinook wind promised for Monday has STILL not put in an appearance) despite much willpower expended on mentally transporting it to Sweden and South Dakota. Plus side: I now know from tracks in snow that rabbits are living in our courtyard along with the squirrels and magpies. All we need now are a few raccoons, a skunk and some deer and it'll truly be home.
