More shiny things :-)

Merino Silk DK (50% superwash merino/50% silk) in "Sargasm" and "If you really wanted to mess me up, you should have gotten to me sooner! (High Fidelity)". DK is heavier than the sockweight (or, more properly, "fingering") yarns I usually buy; DK stands for "double knitting" ... it's the equivalent of working with two strands of fingering treated as if they were one. That's your amazing yarn trivia for today. ;-) It looks more like dark blue in the photo but the High Fidelity colourways** are actually different shades of black ... each of them are double-dyed, first with a base colour and then an overdye of black.

**The High Fidelity colours have a special theme for their names as well ... I'm sure you can figure it out:

Is she all green and fuzzy and mossy?

Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?
